...09.03.2021 Fmk Architecture’s extension and renovation project in Ballymena is now complete!
The aim for this project was to modernise this 1960’s bungalow by re-designing the internal layout and give the exterior a more contemporary look. Some of the changes that were made were:
- Redesign of layout to give an open plan kitchen/Living/Dining with additional light brought in via rooflights.
- Creation of master bed with dressing room and ensuite
- Relocation of main bathroom and creation of an officearea
- Addition of utility room to rear of dwelling
- New triple glazed window system and composite doors
- Re-design of external window locations/styles
- Whole house re – rendered on outside
- Complete new roof coverings
All in all, a very successful project with a great result. Just shows the potential older properties have to become modern homes
