...10.12.2020 FmK have just been awarded a new project for a Farm House Renovation near Dungannon.
The old farmhouse needs the interior totally gutted out with new first floor timbers and all stud walls removed. We will also be redesigning the layout to give more open plan on the ground floor and changes to the staircase. 👌
One of the main elements is to remove a thick internal stone wall and chimney stack in the middle of the house. Careful thought and working with our structural engineer is needed in this case as old stone walls can become unstable. All in all the old farmhouse will be getting modernised to 21st Century standards so it can be a home for a lot more years to come!✅😁
